Event Calendar For The 2011 Season
NWSC holds approximately 12 social events throughout the season.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT is held two times during the season, typically once in June and once in August. We open to allow you to pitch a tent, bring the family and camp out overnight! The kids usually swim till 11:00 PM and the parents socialize.
JUNE & AUGUST CAMPOUTS are great fun! The August camp out also features a family movie night. Just like a drive-in we set up a movie projector, sound system and play two movies for the kids to enjoy. We have pizza at night. Donuts, coffee and juice in the morning. Swim till midnight! (Lifeguards on Duty).
ADULT SOCIAL is an adult only dinner. We have a catered meal and desert. The picnic tables are set up around the pool. We have a great time. Casual Attire. Guests are Welcome.
BINGO NIGHT is held later in the season. Bingo is open to all members. Fun and goofy prizes for the kids and a great time for all!
SATURDAY NIGHT STEAK OUT is a fun event. You order steak or chicken and we fire up the grill. The full package is meat, baked potato and corn-on-the-cob. You gather around the grill and cook your own steak to your desired perfection. This is a family event and is one of our most popular activities.
JULY 4 FLOATILLA is a fun filled day of family activities! We start off with our own design built "boats" that celebrate the July 4th holiday by floating and/or swimming our boats around the pool while the judges rate them for creativity, style, fun, silliness, etc... We have activities for all ages throughout the day. The ever favorite soda can dive, money dive, greased watermelon swim, ice races for the kids. At the end of the evening an "Ice Cream Social" tops off a fun day!
